We started this a few years ago, in 2021. We loved our regular Christmas lights, but it was getting boring. And we discovered the many companies online that help get you addicted here. Wowlights.com kicked this off, and supplied some basic "sequences" which helped me accelerate synching my lights to the music. We started with their basic package, a 16-channel residential controller based off of Light-O-Rama's controller. That is still the backbone of our show, but with a touch of encouragement you never know where I might take this!

In 2022, Santa joined us. His face hangs from the house now and he'll "sing along" with some of our songs. One day I'll spend a bit more time to sync more songs for him, but for now, he bops along merrily and doesn't complain that he isn't perfectly singing all the time. :)

In 2023, we enlisted the help of Merry & Bright to install the house lights and lights on the trees and bushes right by the house. We're happy with them so far. Our installation was a bit more complicated than they're used to, but they stuck with me until it was all dialed in. I'm excited to tap them for more help in the future. With the house done, I had a bit more time to add a bit to the side trees and step up the floodlight game.
